Baker Family

It has proven difficult to trace Peter G.'s origin in Maryland. Baker is a common name and I do not have his father's name.  In fact, Peter's own son thought that Peter came from Germany so he must have had a distinct accent.  Also, Peter died in 1890 when Henry was 26 and not yet old enough to inquire much about his ancestry.

Because Peter eventually married a person whose background was also in Maryland (Baltimore), I have begun my search in that area.  I appreciate any help that reader/relatives can share.
